About San Diego Updates
About San Diego Updates
San Diego Updates is a small, independent guide to San Diego County. We gather the practical details visitors and newcomers need, like hours, prices, parking and rules, into clear guides checked against official sources.

Who we are
San Diego Updates is edited by Terry Vaughn. Every guide is researched from official sources, including the City and County of San Diego, California State Parks, MTS, the National Weather Service and the venues themselves.
We’re a small independent site, not a big media company. We write in plain language and focus on what helps you plan: what’s worth the drive, when to go and what you can skip when time is short.
How we work
We only include places and tips we can back up with current, official information, and we update guides when hours, prices or rules change. San Diego changes fast, though. Hours shift, prices go up and events move, so please check the details with the venue before you head out.
Some posts may carry ads or affiliate links. They help keep the site free to read. They don’t decide what we recommend.
